OFFICIAL PROGRAM OF THE IFMGA GENERAL MEETING IN PRAGUE 2024
After several years, the representatives of individual national associations of mountain guides will meet again in Prague. And the Czech one, ours, is in charge this year. The first such meeting many years ago in Prague was a success and we do not want to disappoint again. Therefore, we have prepared the following program for the delegates.
17 November 2024
Arrival of the IFMGA Board members to Prague, accommodation at the Stages Hotel.
18 November 2024
IFMGA Board of Directors meeting.
Arrival of foreign delegates of 27 IFMGA member organizations to Prague, accommodation at the Stages hotel.
19 November 2024
IFMGA Board of Directors meeting.
A full-day hiking trip to the rock towns of the Bohemian Paradise (UNESCO), the cradle of Czech sandstone climbing, for IFMGA delegates and their partners.
At 9 p. m. - Projection of the film about Toni Gobbi, a famous Italian mountaineer, mountain guide, ski instructor and one of the founders of the IFMGA.
20 November 2024
Workshops organized by selected IFMGA members.
Guided tour of Prague historical center (UNESCO) in the late afternoon for IFMGA delegates and their partners.
Program for delegates' partners: morning guided tour of Prague Castle side and the Lesser Town.
21 November 2024
Workshops organized by selected IFMGA members.
Program for delegates' partners: full-day trip to Kutná Hora (UNESCO), guided tour.
9 p. m. - After-party with live music for IFMGA delegates and CMGA members at the Stages Hotel.
22 November 2024
Morning IFMGA General Assembly. Press conference. End of the General Meeting after lunch.

In the afternoon, the beginning of the IFMGA climbing championship at the Big Wall climbing center in Prague for IFMGA delegates, CMGA members and family members.
